Celebration of Pastor Cam Arensen’s life
Our Arensen family has appreciated your continued prayers during this difficult time.
We now have a date for the Celebration of Life service. It will be held on August 11 @ 2pm at the Eastmont Church in Bend, Oregon. The service will be live streamed and a recording will be made available. Details to follow.
Kindly indicate in the comments below if you will attend the Celebration of Life in person, so that the appropriate amount of refreshments can be arranged.

I am from South Africa, therefore it won’t be possible for me to attend the Service. May GOD be with you and your family members in this very difficult time. I will be praying that you will experience God’s peace. Blessings.
Although we would dearly love to attend the celebration of Cam’s life, unfortunately we are unable to attend. We will certainly be with you in thoughts and prayers. Cam was a wonderful man, and we were blessed to know him as friend and pastor.

We feel Cam’s loss from our Wednesday morning men’s Bible study. He blessed us week after week with his insights, wisdom and leadership.

I just visited the “Oasis” website and found Cam had passed away. What can we say that doesn’t sound trite in an email, when a hug would be much more appropriate for you. You have been good friends for us and we will continue to pray for you Esther Ruth. Since travel is not easy for Carolyn and I we will not be able to attend the memorial service.

I plan on attending the Celebration of Life event in person.
Larry and I and our daughter will plan to attend.
We have had the privilege of friendship and fellowship with Cam (and Esther Ruth) from our university studies Bellingham to “his last good day” in Bend.
He has brought insight, good counsel, compassion, integrity, personal faithfulness and deep caring for the people he touched… and he has quietly touched thousands of saints from around the world.
His life and preaching were of the same cloth – he even applied his own sermons on Romans to himself as he faced his own challenges. He lived as he taught.
Cam has been an example to us and to all.
We thank the Lord for our time with him and we altready miss him.
And, with tears in our eyes at this moment, we look forward to our joyous reunion.
I am so saddened by the demise of our friend in Christ Pastor Cam Arensen. He has been together with us through his life in ministry with the work of God. My family is heartfelt of the things he has ever done in our lives, as well as spreading the word of God from Kenya to Abu Dhabi and even The USA.
He has been supportive of our ministry and mission here in Nairobi, Kenya and he’s always did a visit to us occasionally. May the Almighty God rest him well, heaven is for him. Amen.

Donna and I plan to attend Cam’s Celebration of Life service.
Our Nabali family has been so blessed by Pastor Cam’s teaching, and we four will be attending the Service of the Celebration of Pastor Cam’s Life.
I got to grow in Jesus they cams ministry from 2000 til 2010 when living in or visiting abu Dhabi. He pointed me to my “go to” psalm -#91- and shared joy of seeing an embassy friend come to faith.
I will miss his grace and the gentle strength he had. He was secure in his faith without coming across as dogmatic or strict.
Just as Abu Dhabi was less abundant with his departure for Oregon, bend will be less rich with cam’s absence. I have had about 20 pastors in my life ( and 20 moves). But none were as rich to have known as cam.
Jim and I are thinking about attending. We will let you know very soon after we think through Jim’s Parkinson’s situation and our driving. Praying much for you, Esther Ruth and the rest of the hurting family.
Cam was a wonderful teacher and will be greatly missed. In our men’s Bible study, I gained new insights in the many passages we studied. We always had wonderful fellowship at breakfast after our study.
I will be attending the memorial service for this faithful servant of Christ.

Hi Esther Ruth,
I was saddened to hear of Cam’s passing. At the same time I suspect it is also a relief to know he is not suffering anymore.
While I would love to come in person, I also do not want to overwhelm you or your family as I suspect many people will come to the memorial. I WILL connect on line and you and your family are in my prayers as we all grieve Cam’s passing, although miles apart on this planet.
Cam made a significant impact on everyone I know who encountered him, including myself.

We are retired AIM missionaries and have great memories of working with Lanny Arensen, one of Cam’s brothers. We’re looking forward to viewing the livestream of the service this coming Sunday afternoon. We’d greatly appreciate receiving the link to the livestream in time to share it with other residents here at AIM’s Retirement Center in Minneola, Florida.

Pastor Cam had fought the good fight, he had finished the race, and he had kept the faith. Now there is in store for him the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to him.
I will always treasure the time and the experiences I had at ECC, Abu Dhabi, and both of you are my spiritual role models. Thank you for your love and support in Jesus while I was there. I am deeply grateful.

Spent much time in prayer and thought yesterday knowing those who were nearest and able to attend Cam’s service were gathering in remembrance. What an amazing life and such a blessing to countless people actually around the globe. He will loooonnnnnggggg be remembered in the thoughts and lives of those who have been so blessed to actually have known him personally, yet the fruit of his life will far surpass those limits. He is a faithful servant who lived to bring glory to His Father and lead all whom he could to our Lord Jesus.
Our prayers and thoughts continue with the entire Arensen family and especially his beloved Esther who will continue bravely forward but with a huge hole in her life. Oh the thoughts of the grand celebration of the amazing reunion which awaits all who are in Christ. There is comfort, strength, peace and power to press on till that glorious day.
Hoping for a link to view the Memorial. Surely it was worshipful and honoring.
