Thursday 13 June 2024: The end of the journey
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, pastor, brother and friend slipped away peacefully at 9:12 am this morning, surrounded by a cloud of witnesses as well as his earthly family.
He surely was “like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers…”
We remain forever thankful for his role in our and so many other lives, and we will remember always that for him “to live was Christ and to die was gain” – thank you for every prayer on our and his behalf, we treasure the love from all over the world, and we look forward to the day when we will all be reunited with him and with all of you.
Praying for all of the family. What a great and Godly man. He was a role model for all of us.

Today’s message hurts. How much we will miss this lovely man, our pastor in UAE and friend in Bend. Yet my heart also sings a song of victory and rejoicing. Cam knew Jesus as his Savior, and he is now in His presence, free from all trouble, trials, and pain.

My heart is conflicted as I read about the passing of our dear friend Cam! I am rejoicing in his gain and sorrowful as he will be very missed! Cam greatly impacted me and my family! I will always cherish the fact that he wasn’t ashamed to tell us he loved us! Cams character was so loving and giving.
I send my love and prayers to Esther Ruth and the families as you walk the next days. Love you, Esther Ruth!!! Please reach out if you need to talk or pray or cry or just have questions about how to do this grieving walk.

Two Christian principles come to mind. First, trust Jesus. Second, be thankful always. Although such a great man will be missed by those who remain, Jesus promised his eternal love of Cam, never leaving or forsaking him. Thanks that this is the truth and now Cam is in a body made for eternity and will never again have to be in a body that is not! Praise God and thanks to Cam for helping to make my relationship with our Lord and Savior so much broader and deeper.
We are so thankful the Lord blessed all our lives so much through Pastor Cam.
We pray now the Lord to welcome and receive Cam in His Eternal Kingdom.

Jesus I thank you Pastor Cam I I am thankful for his Christlike conduct.He may not know this, but his conduct has helped me better understand what it means to be a godly man. By the way he greet members on Sunday morning was so cheering and Encouraging. His leading the choir is so excellent. I started to love the Hymn: The old rugged cross” after hearing him sing. Every sermon he preached still Echoes. I lost one of my spiritual father.
We agree with John that we were blessed to have sat under his ministry as Ps. Cam sought to serve his Lord. John 14: 1-4.

Pastor Cam was not only our spiritual mentor, but he also got me my last job of 11 years, both of which directed our spiritual and professional lives in a major way. We thank God for his life
Pastor Cam, Your life was a testament to Christian values. Your unwavering devotion, kindness, and love for others were a beacon of light in this world. Though you have passed on, your spirit lives within all whose lives you’ve touched. Your legacy of faith and compassion will continue to inspire us. Heaven has gained a true servant.
Cam was a inspiration to many. His Christian walk was an example of what we all want to emulate. He fought the good fight. He will be missed. Our prayers are for comfort and peace for Esther Ruth during this time of mourning.

My life has forever changed because of the blessing of having Pastor Cam teach bless and lead me through 30 years of our journey together. I watched him touch and change so many lives for christ around the world. I learn the depths of God‘s Love from pastor. He has now passed the baton onto each of us who have sat at his feet and learned to go and teach others. He will forever be loved and missed. My love and prayers to Esther Ruth. May God continue to strengthen you and carry you through this Challenging time.
Our Pastor Cam was such an inspiration to me and my family!! An expert in theological exposition, calm at all times, deep and thoughtful. Admired by us all!!
